About The Artisans
When you purchase and enjoy Kazi handcrafted goods, you are creating opportunities for men and women across Africa to thrive.
Founders, Greg Stone and Alicia Wallace, created KAZI to connect world loving, fashion forward consumers to beautifully handcrafted products that do good and tell a story.
Their business model reaches deep into rural villages in the developing world and provides training and fair wage jobs that restore dignity and promote self-sufficiency - they see it as the way forward for sustainable development in Africa.
Alleviating poverty across rural Africa isn’t a dream. It’s a passion they live and think hard about.
Kazi employs more than 300 artisans and the average artisan has 5.7 dependents. When you purchase their artisan made goods you are helping to support mre than 21,000 people.
"Fair trade isn't a movement. It's a call to action for each and every one of us to live responsible lifestyles, ensuring we're caring for those down the line whom many of our everyday choices affect."
- ALICIA WALLACE, COO
