About The Company
Petit Collage is the brainchild of Lorena Siminovich, who dreamed up the line in 2006 with her distinctive, handmade collages on wood. Originally from Buenos Aires, she lives in San Francisco with her husband and daughter and works with her dream team of six.
They choose renewable materials and prioritize the use of responsibly-sourced materials, such as FSC-certified wood for toys and paper products. Products are printed with vegetable based inks and waterbased paints.
Products are designed to be long lasting and grow with your child. When assembled, their craft kits double as pretend play; wooden puzzles double as play-sets: and 64-piece puzzles come packaged in a tin coin bank.
All products are free of BPA, phthalates, lead, and formaldehyde.
Factories are certified ICTI: Code of Business Practices, as well as ISO9001 Quality Management Systems, and ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems. Their main factory is certified as a "Caring Company" in recognition of its approach to corporate social responsibility.
Products are subject to the most rigorous product safety testing, including all American and European standards: ASTM, CPSIA, EN71, and REACH.
Products and packaging are designed to optimize space, thereby decreasing the energy required for transport. Packaging is minimized to avoid unnecessary waste and uses recycled content whenever available.
